When the subject of Death comes up in many conversations, most people tend to cringe. It’s a topic that is preferred to be left out the picture of life and daily talk as if it’s not of importance or real. People prefer to talk about life and the good things that life has to offer, i mean anyone would. But death is a phenomenon in life that knocks the door of everyone’s heart once. It's the scary reality of going in a deep sleep in which one will never open eyes in the existence of this world again.
The question that raddles the minds of many is what happens after death? Hmm!, it’s an answer that the human comprehension cannot explain. Some say "Nothing, Life continues" others say our Bodies decompose and we become one with nature, but for many of us that believes in the afterlife have a different conception or view on what awaits us after falling into that never-wake-again deep sleep. But the question shouldn't be what happens after death, we should ask and examine what happens during life.
What happens during the course of our time living can and will determine what happens to us after death. Regardless of what we believe in; live life in such a way that when it’s our turn to face death, a legacy will be left behind for others to follow. Those of us that live the God-kind of life have the assurance of a life after death filled with peace and Joy far way from the human pain and suffering that we experience today. When our life is all over, what will people say or remember about us? Will they say, "He was a productive man, she was a respectful woman, she transformed my thinking, he poured out knowledge into me."
Life gives us opportunities every day to be better than yesterday and be greater tomorrow. It’s our choice to embrace those opportunities to the fullest and be something great in this world and/or being a blessing to someone. If we had the choice in front of us right now to decide between LIFE and DEATH, I'm sure that most of us will choose Life over death. In the context of religion and Christianity, we believe that because God the creator of Life loves us so much, commissioned Jesus Christ his only son to live and die as a punishment for our mistakes and evil things that we do on a day to day basis that corrupts the nature and holiness of what we should have been. If we believe this truth, we will have life in abundance and overflow, if we choose not to, then we've declined the opportunity to life by choosing death.
Life gives us opportunities, death doesn’t. Life or Death, which will you choose today?
